Pattern Review: Simplicity 9702 plus my first full bust adjustment

Hey sewing friends! I recently finished Simplicity 9702 view C and oh, the thoughts I have.

Plus this was the first time that I did a full bust adjustment (FBA) on a pattern. I watched this really great video that references a similar pattern and I was able to modify it for my needs. I’m linking that here as well.

If you watch the video you’ll notice that she adds gathers at the end of her bodice. To fit this dress, I made darts at the end of my bodice. I explain step by step my modifications in my pattern review.

    Hi loved your video. I’m not sure what size pattern to buy as the sizing on the back of the pattern look very strange. I usually wear a size 16 UK but according to the pattern i need a 22! Can you help please
