Hi sewing friends I recently went to Toronto on a girl’s trip with my bestie for Memorial Day weekend. We had the best time – eating, sight seeing, fabric shopping, and hanging out late!
As tradition, you know I made everything I wore on the trip. Here’s a line up of everything, PLUS a fabric haul and a quick travel vlog of our time there! Whew! Enjoy!
I wore the Blanca flight suit by Closet Core Patterns on the first day. Here’s a link to my original post.

The second outfit is just like this one in the photo. I’m wearing Simplicity/Mimi G 9687 I wore this at night to Dundas-Yonge Square. Here’s a link to my original post.

On Saturday I wore McCall’s 8177 to brunch and fabric shopping. I made adjustments for my height (removing about 4 inches total off the longest view). I also took in the bust a little bit. The fit was somewhat loose and I wanted a more fitted look. Lastly, although it’s hard to see… I added tie straps.
My fabric is from Mood. It’s a sateen that is currently sold out. However, this print can be found under different textures, like linen and voile. It’s from the Indigo Collection under Mood Exclusives.

Later that day, I wore my new Heather blazer (pattern by Friday Pattern Co.) made from a navy blue linen blend. I paired it with 2 items that I already had in my closet. The tube top is from a Mimi G/Simplicity pattern and my shorts are the Pietra pattern by Closet Core Patterns.

Until next time, xo!
