Hi sewing friends! I recently made McCall’s 8403 view C and I recorded a sew along for it! I used about 3 yards of some rayon challis that I picked up in New York. I had JUST ENOUGH for this project.

I will share that this dress is on the intermediate side. There are some involved steps that you’ll need to be familiar with. For example, installing an invisible zipper, sewing in plackets, collars and collar bands … it’s not your average quick sewing afternoon project. But there is a trade off – the dress is stunning on. And I love that depending on how the skirt sits on you, the cut outs can be small or big. I made my cut outs on the smaller side for a little bit of modesty.

Here’s a few extra photos of my new make and the link to the sew along!
Until next time!
