Hey sewing friends! I’m back for a second time this week with another pattern review for McCall’s 7936. I made view A, which is the shorts version. Fun fact about this pattern, I made it before about 3 years ago (same view and everything) and I have no idea where that jumpsuit is now. I’m kicking myself for losing it, but I love my new version.

I used this fabric from Hobby Lobby, about 3 yards. I was on the fence with this fabric but since I’ve used it on this pattern I have changed my mind about it. I really like it in this view.

Part of me is a little sad that I waited until the end of summer to make this but better late than never, right? I can always save it for next summer or at least wear it for the warmer days ahead – at least while it’s still warm.

If you want to learn how to sew a really, really easy jumpsuit then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND making this one. It’s loose fitting, has an invisible zipper (which is easier to sew with an invisible zipper foot) and a sash tie.

I’m contemplating making another, but maybe in solid and in the pants version. What do you think?

Until next time!
