Happy Halloween! This Halloween I decided to make my first costume! I’ve never, ever made one before. I decided to make a Flapper costume. I’ve always wanted to dress as one, but never found the right costume.
I purchased Simplicity pattern S9088, which is a period costume. And I used this sequin mesh fabric over this silver polyester satin. I added 2 rows of fringe – and countless accessories. From the shoes, gloves and jewelry I left no stone unturned. I even did a side part, low bun and slicked down my big curly hair. I was committed to the role, honey!
