For once I made something for my husband, haha. But still, it’s a rare occasion. It’s McCall’s 8615 view B and it’s a button up shirt with a twist. It has a really cool placket on the front that almost reminds me of a chef’s jacket but in a much more cooler, military style.
You’ll learn a lot from making this pattern like, sewing an unconventional button placket, sewing a sleeve placket, collar, collar band, cuffs, narrow hem, front pockets (with an inverted pleat) and much more.
