Hi friends! I have a new sew along for McCall’s 8380. It’s a vintage pattern from the 1940s. I sewed it up last week with this gorgeous seersucker fabric that I had in my stash.

What’s cool about this pattern is that it really stretched my sewing skills. It has the original instructions and pattern pieces – so even though it was challenging at times, I feel even more confident in sewing vintage patterns.

    my daughter and I are trying to make this dress. In ther mock up that we are doing, the arm hole seems way too big and the dart seems to be in the wrong place. Did you have to make alot of adjustments to make this dress fit right?

      Yes you will need to adjust the bodice.
