Hey sewing friends! I know it’s strange to think of wearing pants during the Summer, but I love a linen wide leg pant during the warm months. It’s a sophisticated look, but also kind of relaxed.
I recently made Simplicity pattern S9956 which is a like a linen cargo pant. There’s side pockets and patch pockets on the lower side of the pants. Plus there’s options for color blocking!
I made my pants using striped linen fabric from Hobby Lobby. The tan stripe was used for the patch pockets and the inseam gusset. I used the light blue stripe for the majority of the pants pattern.
