I’m a blogger for Mood Sewing Network!

Happy Monday friends! Can I just tell you that I am bursting all over with happiness and excitement concerning this announcement?

I have been such a fan of Mood, going back to season 1 of Project Runway. And anytime I’m in New York I always find time to stop by the shop and take in all the sights, fabrics and Swatch, the dog in the store.

This photo is circa 2017 inside their Mood Fabrics location in NYC. They had an Instagram station near their button section. Foreshadowing or what?

So how did this happen? I applied online. It was a leap of faith. Sure, part of me felt like it was a shot in the dark but…what’s the worst that could happen? So I took my shot, and a few months later I heard back. And here we are.

So now that I’m part of their blogger network what does this mean? Well, it’s a 3 month gig where I will be blogging about their fabric. That doesn’t mean I’ll stop blogging about other makes, it’s just additional content. Pretty exciting right?

Now for this make that I’m wearing…I actually bought this fabric before I became one of their bloggers but I love it just the same…

This is part of their Mood Exclusive Fashion fabric. It’s called Abstract Concepts product #MD0394. I actually mention it in a fabric haul from May. It’s a voile, which I didn’t know would be so see thru. So I lined my bodice only with some lining fabric that I had in my stash.

I absolutely adore this print though! Faces are a really big deal right now…as they were last year too. And this abstract print will certainly turn heads and start up conversations.

Until next time…TTYL!
